Mitsubishi Brand Is the Title Sponsor of This Year’s Las Vegas Bowl

We’re thrilled to represent an automaker that isn’t afraid of firsts. The 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross was a first. So is the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Now, the Mitsubishi brand is boasting another impressive first. The car maker will be the title sponsor of this year’s and next year’s Vegas Bowl. This is the first time that the Mitsubishi brand will be the title sponsor for a college football bowl game. For the next two years at least, the Vegas Bowl will be known as the “Mitsubishi Las Vegas Bowl.”

This year’s Mitsubishi Las Vegas Bowl will kick off at 12:30pm PT on Saturday, December 15. The postseason game will be played at Sam Boyd Stadium and it will be broadcasted nationally by ABC. The bowl will pit a Pac-12 team against the top team from the Mountain West division. Ticket prices range from $35 to $250. You can buy tickets by clicking here.

“This new partnership brings together two exciting and world-renowned brands in Mitsubishi Motors and Las Vegas,” said Mitsubishi Motors Las Vegas Bowl Executive Director John Saccenti. “We are proud of how our event has grown so much along with our great city the last quarter-century and with the addition of a world-class title sponsor the future looks even brighter.”

“We are extremely enthused about this partnership and how it can help build brand awareness for Mitsubishi Motors and our exciting vehicle lineup, including our all-new [Mitsubishi] Eclipse Cross and [Mitsubishi] Outlander PHEV,” said Francine Harsini, chief marketing officer, Mitsubishi Motors North America. “This collaboration allows us to provide our customers and fans with fun experiences, connecting with them in a unique way.”
