Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Details and Features

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has two rows instead of the three rows in the "traditional" Mitsubishi Outlander . As a result, cargo space starts at 30.4 cubic feet and maxes out at 62.8 cubic feet.

The change in configuration leaves room for a quick-charge capable battery pack that delivers 22 miles of all-electric range and boosts fuel economy to 74 MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent). If most of your driving is local, you can save yourself a lot on gas!

The all-wheel drive system is re-tuned for better performance. A power lumbar feature is added to the driver's seat across all trims. And there's some shuffling of safety and tech features we'll get to shortly.

Safety features get a tweak this year. High-beam assist, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and high-beam assist are now standard.

Unlike our other new Mitsubishi SUVs , there are only two trims for the PHEV: SEL and GT.
